The new musical tells the (hialrious) tale of King Arthur and his (off-the-wall) Knights of the Roundtable as they embark on their (side-splitting) quest for the iconic Holy Grail.
At left, stars Tim Curry (The Rocky Horror Show) and David Hyde Pierce soak in the applause during their opening night curtain call. Audience members Iman and David Bowie are also seen above living original Pythons Michael Palin, Terry Jones, Eric Idle, Terry Giliam and John Cleese.
Monty Python's Spamalot is directed by Tony winner Mike Nichols and is playing an open-ended run at the Shubert on West 44th Street in New York City.
