News PHOTO CALL: Broadway’s Scoundrels Can’t Resist the Purr of Moscow’s Cats Cats, those ever curious creatures, found their way backstage at Broadway’s Imperial Theatre on Oct. 5 as several members of the Moscow Cats Theatre attended a matinee of the popular musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Moscow Cats Theatre, invented by circus performer Yuri Kuklachev thirty years ago, features "non-stop action by a troop of talented felines performing original and astounding acrobatic feats, integrated into a non verbal, colorful and fun-filled family show,” according to production notes. Below, several of the Moscow Cats visit stars John Lithgow and Norbert Leo Butz backstage at Dirty Rotten Scoundrels after their matinee performance at the Imperial Theatre on West 45th Street in midtown Manhattan.
