News PHOTO CALL: Broadway’s Stars Come Out to Play at Yearly Free Concert The corner of Broadway and 44th Street in midtown Manhattan came alive with the sounds of musical theatre on the morning of Sept. 18 as the yearly Broadway on Broadway concert took to the streets.

Each summer, the stars of nearly every major musical on Broadway come out for the concert to promote their shows and the Broadway community in general. This year’s concert featured, among others, The Light in the Piazza Tony Award winner Victoria Clark, Beauty and the Beast’s brand new Belle Ashley Brown and the cast of the surprise hit The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
