According to York notes, "Social norms and qualms are thrown out the window in The Roar of the Greasepaint – The Smell of the Crowd, a musical about 1960s London, where two gentlemen of different classes are always trying to get the best of each other and neither truly win." This comic musical premiered on Broadway in 1965 and includes "Feeling Good" and "Who Can I Turn To?"

The Leslie Bricusse-Anthony Newley musical will feature Brandi Burkhardt (A Tale of Two Cities), Veronica Kuehn (Mamma Mia!), Zonya Love (The Color Purple), Eliza Maher (Seussical national tour), Ruthie Ann Miles (Avenue Q), newcomer Elly Noble and Kay Trinidad (The Little Mermaid). These artists join the previously announced Jim Brochu (Zero Hour), Quentin Earl Darrington (Ragtime) and Josh Grisetti (Enter Laughing, The Musical). Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime) directs, with music direction by Ethyl Will.
