The cast of Amour takes their opening night bow Oct. 20 at Broadway's Music Box Theatre.

Based on a French short story by Marcel Ayme, Michel Legrand's Amour is set in post World War II Paris and concerns the life of Dusoleil (Gets), a civil servant who discovers he has the ability to walk through walls. With this strange new power, he discovers the secret lives of his neighbors along with a romance of his own (with Melissa Errico). The French version, Le Passe Muraille, won the Prix Moliere for Best Musical in 1997, the equivalent of the Tony Award.
