The production is a unique mixed-media collaboration between director Nick Phillipou, writer/performer Todd Cerveris and writer Caridad Svich. The Cerveris brothers play John Wilkes and Edwin Booth, while Todd also portrays, via projection screen, the Booth boys' father. At left, are Todd and Michael Cerveris; below director Phillipou, playwright Svich, and Todd Cerveris.

The Booth Variations is playing through Aug. 22 in a Moonshine Project production at 59E59.
