News PHOTO CALL: Christine Dwyer and Jenni Barber Unveil Wicked-Inspired "Project Runway" Design The Broadway production of the hit Stephen Schwartz musical Wicked has collaborated with Lifetime’s “Project Runway All Stars” for a Wicked-inspired episode and couture challenge. The winning design was unveiled at the theatre Nov. 14.

The designers were challenged with creating couture-inspired garments using the themes of Wicked, the world of Oz and Susan Hilferty’s Tony Award-winning designs as inspiration.

The episode, which aired Nov. 13 at 9 PM ET, was filmed onstage at the Gershwin Theatre, where “Project Runway All Stars” host Alyssa Milano entered in Glinda’s iconic bubble. The broadcast also featured current Wicked stars Christine Dwyer and Jenni Barber delivering the challenge to the All Star designers.

The winning garment is on display in the lobby of Broadway’s Gershwin beginning Nov. 14, where it will remain through the end of the year.
