News PHOTO CALL: Christmas in July Benefit Christmas in July: Misfit Kids' Letters to Old St. Nick, music-directed by 2007 Drama Desk Award winner Mary-Mitchell Campbell (Company), was performed July 23 to raise money for Artists Striving To End Poverty (ASTEP), founded by Campbell to bring arts, education and empowerment to kids in need.

Chris Hoch, Daniel C. Levine, Cindy Marchionda and Sally Wilfert were featured performers for the benefit concert, which also boasted special guests. This "world premiere collection of naughty (and nice) holiday-themed theatre songs" by lyricist and Playbill.com managing editor Kenneth Jones and composer Gerald Stockstill (both alumni of The BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop) was held at The Players Theatre in Greenwich Village. Jeff Talbott directed the concert, which is being developed as a musical comedy revue.

Joining the featured foursome of Hoch, Levine, Marchionda and Wilfert were special guests Colleen Fitzpatrick, Andre Ward, Roger DeWitt, 2007 Tony Award nominee Gavin Lee, Emily Harvey, Fred Rose, Jennifer Simard, Jessica-Snow Wilson, with Michelle Miller, Ben Roseberry and Kara Boyer.
