29, the pop-rock song cycle featuring music and lyrics by award-winning composer Gaby Alter and book and additional lyrics by Tommy Newman, was performed by Lindsay Mendez, Betsy Wolfe, Farah Alvin and more, at Joe's Pub Nov. 8.

The cast featured Farah Alvin, Alex Brightman, Nick Cartell, Blake Daniel, Ryan Duncan, Piper Goodeve, Molly Hager, Curtis Holbrook, Lauren Marcus, Lindsay Mendez, Patti Murin, Andrew Samonksy, Phoebe Strole, Jared Weiss, Hannah Whitney, Jason "Sweet Tooth" Williams and Betsy Wolfe with direction by Jeremy Dobrish. 29, according to the creators, is a "high-octane pop-rock song cycle in which characters face defining moments of adulthood: from finding jobs and roommates, to an unexpected pregnancy, a parent's illness and falling in and out of love. As they head out of their twenties, the characters look back at a decade of change and loss, and reach to connect with each other and their real selves."
