The four-person cast features Foote (Dividing the Estate; Harrison, TX), Hopper (CQ/CX), LeFevre (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) and Verson (The Winter's Tale).

According to Primary Stages, "In the tradition of great American plays, Daisy Foote explores the institution of the American family in Him. Two siblings struggling to keep the family store afloat must decide which is a priority: their father's final wishes or their financial stability. It's a choice that could tear them apart."

Daisy Foote's plays include Living with Mary, God's Pictures, Farley and Betsy, Darcy and Clara, The Hand of God, When They Speak of Rita and The Cottage, which have been produced or workshopped at the Indiana Repertory Theater, Women's Project, Primary Stages, American Conservatory Theater, Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference, Lake George Theatre Lab and elsewhere. Her most recent play, Bhutan, was first read as part of the Brand New Festival at Hartford Stage and then went on to be featured on the main stage at New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Festival before its New York premiere at the Cherry Lane Theatre. It was nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award. Her screenplays include adaptations of Elizabeth Jolley's "The Last Crop," T.C. Boyle's "Water Music," and, for Steppenwolf Films, John Steinbeck's "The Winter of Our Discontent." Her screenplay adaptation of Stephen Dobyns' "The Church of Dead Girls" is slated to be filmed in 2013. The production has scenic design by Marion Willians, costume design by Teresa Snider-Stein, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau and music and sound by Broken Chord.
