Derek Klena, who can currently be seen in Broadway's Wicked, starred in a concert version of Ryan Scott Oliver's Darling, which was presented Nov. 4 as part of 54 Below's RSO FEST.

Very Intense Productions and Your Theatrics (Jeremy Youett and Jacob Harvey) presented the concert version of Oliver's musical at 7 PM and 9:30 PM. Darling is the second in the RSO series, which launched Oct. 7 with 35mm.

The cast of Darling includes Klena (Carrie, Dogfight), Nikki Snelson (Legally Blonde), Leo Ash Evens (Jesus Christ Superstar), Andrea Ross (Whistle Down The Wind) and Kurt Zischke (Whistle Down The Wind), with special performances by Katie Thompson (Off-Broadway's Giant), Julia Mattison (Godspell) and Emily Rogers (Off-Broadway's Unlock'd).

Jeremy Dobrish directed Darling, which featured choreography by Warren Adams and music direction by Chris Fenwick. Darling is produced in association with Grammy Award-winning Kurt Deutsch and Sh-k-boom.

Other members of the creative team included Oliver and Ryan Fielding Garrett (orchestrations), KJ Hardy (lighting), Bobby Pearce (costumes), Kristina Vnook (stage manager), Coleman Annison (assistant stage manager), Bob Kelly (assistant music director), Janna Emig (assistant director) and (graphic design).
