News PHOTO CALL: Elaine Stritch Takes the Stage with the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus Elaine Stritch, the 80-year old singer-actress whose spunk and style have become synonymous with Broadway, was a guest performer with the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus on Dec. 14.

The 185-member Gay Men's Chorus mission statement is to “create music that transforms lives through artistic excellence” and to “raise its voice to promote social acceptance and equality,” according to its website.
