For years Simon has been one of the more polarizing figures in New York theatre. His often scathing and unflinching reviews have drawn the ire of many of a performer throughout the years. Not all have been permanently hurt though, as a few of Broadway’s biggest names turned out to help Simon celebrate the release of the book.
