The production features 16 tango dancers, one vocalist and an 11-piece orchestra.
Five-time Grammy Award winner Gilberto Santa Rosa as well as Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, from "Dancing With the Stars," are featured in the production through July 28.
Rosa has achieved 14 #1 hits on Billboard's Tropical Airplay Chart, numerous gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums and five Grammy Awards.
Smirnoff, a mirror ball champion, has won five U.S. National Championships, earned titles at the U.S. Open, Asian Open and U.K. Open and was ranked #2 in the world. She has starred in and contributed choreography for Broadway’s Burn the Floor, music videos, awards shows and films and recently starred with Marsha Mason in the film "Across Grace Alley." Chmerkovskiy's credits include Le Rêve – The Dream at Wynn Las Vegas, Broadway's Burn the Floor and various television projects. He has launched one of the nation's leading Latin and ballroom dance studios, Dance with Me, which has four locations across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Forever Tango originally opened on Broadway in 1997, receiving numerous Drama Desk and Tony Award nominations. It returned to Broadway for a four-month engagement in 2004.
