News   PHOTO CALL: Gurney and Lincoln Center Fire an Ace w/ Big Bill Opening Lincoln Center Theater's production of A.R. Gurney's new play Big Bill opened on Feb. 22 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theatre.

The play, about the life of tennis great Bill Tilden, is directed by Mark Lamos. At left, A.R. Gurney and Mark Lamos, and star John Michael Higgins and Margaret Welsh join other invited guests and celebrities at the opening night party, held at the Kaplan Penthouse in New York City. Below, A.R. Gurney and playwright Arthur Kopit enjoy the evening.

Big Bill is scheduled to run through May 16.
