Gypsy of the Year 2000 raised $2,056,666 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Miss Saigon was the winner of the best skit award, while The Lion King raised $189,195. The competition was held Dec. 4 and 5 at the Palace Theatre.
