News PHOTO CALL: Gypsy of the Year 2010 Complete Photo Coverage The 2010 Gypsy of the Year competition was held Dec. 6-7 at the New Amsterdam Theatre, with Seth Rudetsky hosting. The annual benefit raised $3,776,720 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. It's the third highest amount in the 22-year history of Gypsy.

The winner of this year's Best Stage Presentation went to Rock of Ages for its acrobatic presentation of "Puppet Master" featuring cast member Julie Nelson and Rudi Macaggi. Runner up went to Adam Riegler of The Addams Family for his spoof of the "It Gets Better" campaign, assuring upcoming Broadway shows that, like the Addams Family, they can survive harsh bullying by the critics.

As has become custom in the past 22 years, Gypsy of the Year featured a mix of satirical skits, songs and impressive dance numbers, all performed by the "gypsies" of the respective shows — with occasional appearances by the show's stars.

Here is a look at this year's Gypsy of the Year:
