Every October, Americans for the Arts leads the country to celebrate cultural riches through National Arts and Humanities Month. The Americans for the Arts National Arts Awards serve as the focal point for the nationwide celebrations and is the signature event of the year for Americans for the Arts. Board member Maria Bell served as chair for the event.

Angela Lansbury - Lifetime Achievement Award Martha Rivers Ingram - Eli & Edythe Broad Award for Philanthropy in the Arts Herb Alpert - Outstanding Contributions to the Arts Award Kate & Laura Mulleavy, Rodarte - Maria & Bill Bell Young Artist Award
