News PHOTO CALL: Harris Yulin Is Salesman's Willy Loman in Ireland American actor Harris Yulin, known for roles on and off Broadway, stepped into the wing-tipped shoes of Willy Loman in Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman at the Gate Theatre in Dublin, Ireland on July 15.

David Esbjornson directed the production, which had its official opening July 20. The Gate company includes Séainín Brennan, Stephen Brennan, Peter Daly, Deirdre Donnelly, Barbara Griffin, John Kavanagh, Garrett Lombard, Barry McGovern, Elizabeth Moynihan, Rory Nolan, Marie Ruane and Stephen Swift.

Here's how the Gate bills the American classic: "Veteran salesman, Willy Loman, has always gotten along 'riding on a smile and a shoeshine.' but recently seems to have lost his golden touch. Haunted by missed opportunities and a troubled past, his life begins to unravel as he starts to lose faith in the two things he believes in: his family and his dreams."
