News PHOTO CALL: Hot-Off Intimate Apparel, Lynn Nottage Opens New Play Fabulation Following the success of her play Intimate Apparel, which garnered some of the best reviews of the just finished season, playwright Lynn Nottage's new work, Fabulation, opened on June 13 at Playwrights Horizons.

Billed as a "new, dark comedy", Fabulation (receiving its world premiere production) follows a pregnant, down and out publicist into the world of welfare mothers, drug addicts, and FBI agents. At left are director Kate Whoriskey and Nottage, as well as the playwright with her star, Charlayne Woodard. Below, the cast and creative team celebrate the opening at the West Bank Cafe on West 42nd Street in New York City.

Fabulation is directed by Kate Whoriskey, with settings by Walt Spangler, costumes by Kaye Voyce, lighting by David Weiner, and sound by Ken Travis. It is scheduled to run until June 27.
