News PHOTO CALL: Hughie/Krapp's Last Tape, Starring Dennehy, Rehearses at Goodman Brian Dennehy currently rehearses for the upcoming double bill of Eugene O'Neill's Hughie and Samuel Beckett's Krapp's Last Tape to plays Chicago's Goodman Theatre.

Goodman artistic director Robert Falls directs Hughie, which also features Joe Grifasi. Jennifer Tarver helms Krapp's Last Tape. Performances begin Jan. 16 towards a Jan. 25 opening.

Hughie centers around high-rolling gambler Erie (Dennehy) and Hughie and a new night clerk (Grifasi) at his apartment building. In Krapp's Last Tape, the self-absorbed title character prepares to record his memories of the last year and revisits his previous birthday tapes.
