In the famous tale of "Jack and the Beanstock," Jack, played by Adam Wylie, has to sell his beloved Cow (Kate Reinders) to support himself and his Mother (MaryLouise Burke in her first musical role). Into the Woods, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's fairy tale musical, opens at Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre April 25, following previews beginning April 13. Prior to New York, the show run at L.A.'s Ahmanson Theatre Feb. 1-March 26, officially opening there Feb. 10.
