News   PHOTO CALL: Jacques Brel is Alive and Well at Off-Broadway’s Zipper Theater Off-Broadway’s unique Zipper Theater became the location of the latest sighting of the cult musical Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris on March 27, with the opening of the show’s Off-Broadway revival.

Featuring the talents of Jekyl and Hyde’s Robert Cuccioli, Jacques Brel is described in production notes as “a diverse blend of ballads, tangos, boleros, rock and classics” that celebrate the musical compositions of the man from whom the show takes its eye catching title. At left, original 1968 Brel cast member Elly Stone and revival director Gordon Greenberg, as well as Papermill Playhouse casting director Alison Franck and John Lloyd Young (Jersey Boys) are seen after the show. Below, cast members Cuccioli, Gay Marshall, Natascia Diaz, Rodney Hicks and music director Eric Svejcar are seen at the opening night party for Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris at Camino Sur Restaurant on West 37th Street in New York City.
