The production has scenic design by Brett Banakis, costume design by Cait O’Connor, lighting design by Mark Barton, and music and sound design by Brandon Wolcott.

According to the Public, "Titus is Rome’s greatest general and the head of a noble Roman family. When his armies vanquish the Goths, their defeated queen unleashes a fury that rocks Titus’s city, devastates his children, and shatters his sense of self. The cycle of revenge is shocking, bloody, and all-encompassing, but expressed through poetry and theatricality as vivid, energized, and thrilling as anything in Shakespeare’s later works." Coinciding with the run are two Public Lab Thursday Night Speaker Series events. Shakespeare Initiative director Barry Edelstein will host "Learning from the Past: A Panel on the Themes of Titus Andronicus" with director Sexton and Yale professor David Scott Kastan on Dec. 8.

Also planned is “Eye for an Eye: A Panel on Cycles of Revenge in the 21st Century," which will take place Dec. 15. It will feature Titus star Sanders and Isis Grant.

The Public Lab will continue in 2012 with The Total Bent, from Tony Award winner Stew and his Passing Strange collaborator Heidi Rodewald.

All Public Lab productions are $15. Phone (212) 967-7555 or visit PublicTheater. The Public Theater is located at 425 Lafayette Street in Manhattan.
