Danny Boyle, Oscar-winning director of "Slumdog Millionaire" "Trainspotting," "Shallow Grave" and this year's "127 Hours," directs the piece, marking his return to the theatrical stage where his career as a director first began.
On alternate nights, Cumberbatch and Miller take turns playing Dr. Frankenstein and the Creature.
The cast of Frankenstein also includes Mark Armstrong, Martin Chamberlain, Josie Daxter, Haydon Downing, Steven Elliott, George Harris, Naomi Harris, Daniel Ings, Karl Johnson, John Killoran, Daniel Millar, William Nye, Andreea Padurariu, Jared Richard, Ella Smith, John Stahl and Lizzie Winkler.

The production will include Bernstein’s incidental music for Lillian Hellman’s adaptation of The Lark, and Menotti’s The Unicorn, The Gorgon, and The Manticore.
Based on the novel and film by Frank Cottrell Boyce, the new musical will reunite Guettel with Tony-winning Light in the Piazza director Bartlett Sher.
