Baldwin, who is seven months pregnant, told Playbill.com prior to the concert, "The theme of the evening is 'expectations,' and I will talk about my pregnancy, but it won't be the only subject! I'll reflect a little bit on my recent move to Park Slope, Brooklyn, with my husband Graham Rowat, and touch on fears, anxieties and daydreams about the future; dealing with career choices while imagining how a new little person will react to this life, and how we will react to him. And how optimism is a choice — and sometimes a difficult thing to choose."
