Also featured were Judith Clurman’s Essential Voices USA. The evening promised classics such as "Carol of the Bells," "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and "Winter Wonderland," plus songs from Broadway.
O'Hara returns to Broadway this spring in the revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I. Morrison also returns to star in the new musical adaptation of Finding Neverland.
The production will include Bernstein’s incidental music for Lillian Hellman’s adaptation of The Lark, and Menotti’s The Unicorn, The Gorgon, and The Manticore.
Based on the novel and film by Frank Cottrell Boyce, the new musical will reunite Guettel with Tony-winning Light in the Piazza director Bartlett Sher.
