News PHOTO CALL: Kelli O'Hara, Paulo Szot and Aaron Lazar Sing Rodgers and Hammerstein at Carnegie Hall South Pacific stars Paulo Szot and Kelli O'Hara reunited for Some Enchanted Evening: The Music of Rodgers and Hammerstein, which opened the New York Pops' 30th season Oct. 12 at Carnegie Hall.

Led by musical director and conductor Steven Reineke, the 8 PM concert was headlined by Tony winner Szot and four-time Tony nominee O'Hara, who starred as Emile de Becque and Nellie Forbush, respectively, in the 2008 Tony-winning revival of South Pacific.

Also featured was Mamma Mia! star Aaron Lazar, who appeared on Broadway in The Light in the Piazza and A Little Night Music; as well as Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA and New York Theatre Ballet.

Audiences heard songs from Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music. Many of the selections feature the original Robert Russell Bennett orchestrations.

The season will also include a celebration of the music of Tony-nominated and Academy Award-winning Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz April 13, 2013, as well as a tribute to Sammy Cahn on March 8, 2013.
