A Tony nomination and many Shakespeare brushing-ups later find Michael Mulhern still with Kiss Me, Kate, even as the Broadway revival shuttered at the Martin Beck Dec. 30. With him are his two partners in gangstering - Lee Wilkof (left), who was also nominated for a Tony, and Michael McCormick, who replaced Wilkof. The Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate ended its acclaimed two-year run after 28 previews and 885 regular performances at the Martin Beck Theatre Dec. 30. Kate's current cast — Carolee Carmello, Janine LaManna, Moses, Kevin Neil McCready — ended the run that began with Marin Mazzie and Stokes Mitchell in 1999. Mazzie is currently starring in the London run of the show, with Brent Barrett as her leading man.
