News PHOTO CALL: Lea Salonga in Les Misérables Tony Award winner Lea Salonga recently entered the Broadway revival of Les Misérables.

The actress – who won the Tony, Olivier, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her portrayal of Kim in Miss Saigon – previously appeared in the musical during the run of the original production.

At that time – in 1993 – she played the street waif Eponine. Salonga joins the new Broadway production as Fantine, succeeding Daphne Rubin-Vega in the role.
