The tribute was held at 45 Bleecker, on Lafayette Street, in downtown New York city. Redgrave has appeared in such films as "Gods and Monsters" and "The Next Best Thing", and on Broadway in Saint Joan, Shakespeare for My Father, and Moon Over Buffalo. Redgrave was joined by friends and colleagues Tom Hulce, Kathleen Chalfant and Edward Hibbert, as well as by her daughter Kelly and son Ben. Redgrave is the sister of Tony Award winner Vanessa Redgrave.
