The breakout star of Contact is Deborah Yates, dressed like her character, the Girl in the Yellow Dress. She poses with Karen Ziemba (Chicago) and with her Contact partner, Boyd Gaines (Cabaret) and Ruth Warrick.
After opening to raves reviews Oct. 7, Contact, a three-part dance play based on swing moves and music, extended its run at Lincoln Center's Mitzi Newhouse Theatre through Jan. 2, 2000.
According to theatrical production group No Guarantees, young people would go to the theatre if they knew about it.
The play by Amy Herzog officially opened April 23 on Broadway.
