The Public Theater and La Mama presented a one-night-only encore benefit performance of the Belarus Free Theatre's acclaimed production of Being Harold Pinter Jan. 17.
The show was a sold-out success at this year's Under the Radar Festival at The Public. All proceeds from the evening benefited the Belarus Free Theater, which is facing persecution in their homeland; in fact, company members barely escaped prison to travel to New York to perform the work.
