Manhattan Theatre Club is producing the work, it's first of the Broadway season at the restored Biltmore Theatre. Parker plays a suburban house wife who finds out that her husband has hired a hit man to end her life.

Parker won a critical acclaim, as well as a Tony Award, for her last Broadway production, Proof. She made her Broadway debut in playwright Lucas' Prelude to a Kiss in 1990.

Reckless is directed by Mark Brokaw, with settings by Allen Moyer, costumes by Michael Krass, lights by Chris Akerlind, and sound/original music by David Van Tieghem. The production has its opening night on Oct. 14 and is scheduled to run through Nov. 28.
