This performance was a "stripped, acoustic set" featuring highlights from Doyle's recently released EP, "Daylight," as well as songs from his forthcoming follow-up EP, "Sunset."
At the concert, the performer was joined by composer/musical director Will Van Dyke (Rent), who collaborated with him on "Daylight"; War Horse co-star Kate Pfaffl; and Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening).
Recorded in Nashville and New York City, song titles from "Daylight" include "My Arms Are Open," "If Morning Can't Wait," "Lost and Lookin'," "What Do You Gain?," "Weigh Me Down" and "Home.
Doyle has also been seen on Broadway in Spring Awakening and Bye Bye Birdie.
Broadway Impact is a non-profit organization composed of theatre artists and fans who support marriage equality. The organization was founded in 2008 by Tony-nominated performers Rory O'Malley (The Book of Mormon) and Gavin Creel (Hair) as well as production coordinator Jenny Kanelos.
