News PHOTO CALL: MCC Chills Off-Broadway with Opening of Frozen Manhattan Class Company opened its production of Bryony Lavery's Frozen, starring Swoosie Kurtz, on March 18.

The play concerns three people who are connected by a child's disappearance and how they've coped over the years with the tragedy they have in common.

At left are Swoosie Kurtz and director Doug Hughes with co-star Brian F. O'Byrne. Below them, Cynthia Mace, Kathleen Chalfant, and Lynn Redgrave celebrate the opening night at Cafe DeVille on Third Avenue & 13th Street in New York City.

Frozen is directed by Doug Hughes, with sets by Hugh Landwehr, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Clifton Taylor, and sound by David Van Tiegham. The production is scheduled to run through April 10 at the East 13th Street Theater.
