Set “in the far away mythical, miserable village of Brood,” according to production notes, the play “conjures up an imaginative world peopled by dreamers, schemers, and various sets of would-be lovers.” At left, MCC co-artistic director Robert LuPone and actress Veanne Cox, as well as Berger and director Trip Cullman (Dog Sees God) are seen after the performance.
