Jonathan Lichtenstein's Memory, part of the Brits Off Broadway festival, celebrated its opening night May 10 at Bistro 60 in Manhattan.

The production, which began performances May 5 and runs through May 27, is directed by Terry Hands at 59E59's Theater A. Vivien Parry leads the cast, which also includes Lee Haven-Jones, Daniel Hawksford, Ifan Huw Dafydd, Simon Nehan, Oliver Ryan and Christian McKay.

The play comes to New York from Clwyd Theatr Cymru in Wales. According to press notes, Memory "is a powerful dramatization of the power and failure of memory. Crossing between two generations, Memory links the events of the Holocaust with the modern-day Israeli-Palestinian conflict."
