News PHOTO CALL: Mercedes Ruehl Visits Avenue Q Tony Award-winning actress Mercedes Ruehl stopped in to visit with the cast and crew of Avenue Q at their new Off-Broadway home at New World Stages.

Ruehl won a Tony Award for her work in Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers and was also nominated for her performances in The Goat or Who Is Sylvia? and The Shadow Box. Other credits include Other People's Money, The Marriage of Bette and Boo and I'm Not Rappaport. Ruehl also won an Academy Award for her role as Anne Napolitano in "The Fisher King."

The Tony Award-winning Avenue Q currently plays Off-Broadway at New World Stages. The cast features Sala Iwamatsu, Nicholas Kohn, Maggie Lakis, Anika Larsen, Seth Rettberg, Cullen R. Titmas and Danielle K. Thomas.
