News PHOTO CALL: Michael C. Hall Breathes Life Into Mr. Marmalade During Roundabout Rehearsal "Six Feet Under" star Michael C. Hall, who has been seen on Broadway in Cabaret and Chicago, returns to the Roundabout Theatre Company to lead the cast of the Off-Broadway comedy Mr. Marmalade.

On Oct. 14, Roundabout held an open press rehearsal to give a glimpse at the new play by Noah Haidle. Mr. Marmalade takes a look at "adult behavior interpreted through two very smart children," according the press materials. "Lucy has a precocious vocabulary, killer skills in the kitchen, a husband who spends too much time at the office, and she's just four years old! Her imaginary world revolves around a too-busy businessman named Mr. Marmalade who never has time for the child who adores him."

Below, cast members Virginia Louise Smith, Pablo Schreiber, Haidle, Hall, cast members Mamie Gummer, Michael Chernus, David Costabile and director Michael Greif are seen at a rehearsal of Mr. Marmalade at the Laura Pels Theatre on West 46th Street in New York City.

Mr. Marmalade begins prevviews on Nov. 1, with an opening night set for Nov. 20.
