A leading producer of Off-Broadway productions, Second Stage scored one of its biggest hits in recent years with the Broadway transfer of Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses, for which Zimmerman won a Tony for Best Director of a Play. This season's Living Out has been nominated for both Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel awards. Helping to celebrate were composer William Finn, director Scott Ellis and Wonderful Town's Kathleen Marshall. The big stars of the evening, which was hosted by Cipriani at 110 East 42nd Street, were Cynthia Nixon, Kevin Bacon and Annette Benning.
