As described in press materials, “Celebration opens on a wedding anniversary in an ultra-trendy restaurant, with three successful couples jockeying for the upper hand, while The Room descends into a nightmare world of insecurity and uncertainty in a shabby one-room London flat.” At left, cast members Carolyn McCormick, Christa Scott-Reed, Mary Beth Peil and Earle Hyman are seen at the show’s post-opening party. Below, director Neil Pepe, Mary McCann and Atlantic managing director Andrew D. Hamingson toast the opening night of Celebration and The Room at Earth on Tenth Avenue in New York City.
