Julianne Nicholson and James Waterston star in the world premiere presentation of Bathsheba Doran's Parents' Evening at The Flea Theater.

Nicholson (This, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent") and Waterston (Buffalo Gal, "Dead Poets Society") star as a married couple who "prepare with dread for the annual parents' evening at their daughter's school," according to show notes. The work focuses on modern-day marriage, director Jim Simpson explains, "particularly the working woman's struggle to be mother, lover, breadwinner and wife - to be it all and to have it all. The play is a striking look at the way we live now." Here is a look at the production:

Tickets to Parents' Evening at The Flea, 41 White Street (between Church and Broadway) are available by calling (212) 352-3101 or online at theflea.org.
