Taking a break from the usual Shakespeare (and occasional Brecht or Chekhov), Central Park's Delacorte Theater hosts a production of Peer Gynt by Norwegian master Henrik Ibsen.

The show plays three performances only, Oct. 5-7, with a cast of more than 150 actors. Edvard Grieg's well-known score, inspired by the play, is performed by the American Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Timothy Myers.
