News PHOTO CALL: Phyllis Newman, Kate Baldwin, Nancy Opel and More Celebrate "What's New At The Zoo?" Phyllis Newman, Kate Baldwin, Nancy Opel, Alexandra Silber and more were on hand at Newman's apartment Sept. 26 to help celebrate the release of the new children's book, "What's New At The Zoo?"

The book, with illustrations by Travis Foster, employs lyrics from the Betty Comden and Adolph Green (Newman's late husband) tune of the same name, from the musical Do Re Mi.

According to publisher's notes, "With language that remains as fresh and funny as when it was first sung back in 1960, 'What's New At The Zoo?' tells the tale (or is that tails?) of an overcrowded zoo and the amazingly witty animals who want OUT! This captivating picture book includes an introduction and closing note by two-time, Tony award-winning actress Phyllis Newman, wife the late Adolph Green, who explains the connection the song has to their family."

A portion of the proceeds from the book will go to the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative.
