News PHOTO CALL: Point Foundation's New York Honors Gala The Point Foundation - the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students of merit — held its annual New York benefit April 27 at the Roosevelt Hotel.

At the event the Foundation presented its Courage, Inspiration and Legend Awards. "Ugly Betty" creator Silvio Horta received the Point Courage Award, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) received the Point Inspiration Award, and playwright, librettist and director Arthur Laurents was presented with the inaugural Point Legend Award. Susan Lucci and Cameron Mathison ("All My Children") hosted the festivities.
