News PHOTO CALL: Pulitzer Winner Shanley is Toasted Outside the Walter Kerr by His Producers Fresh off of winning one of playwriting's most prestigious awards, John Patrick Shanley was met outside the Walter Kerr Theatre (where his play Doubt is running on Broadway) by the play's lead actress and producers, whom toasted his win with flutes of champagne.

Shanley's play presents the audience with a complicated web of deceptive truths as the two leading characters - a nun and an accused priest - come to arms about alleged inappropriate behavior with a young boy.

Below, Shanley, star Cherry Jones, producers Roger Berlind, Lynne Meadow, Carole Shorenstein Hays, Scott Rudin and director Doug Hughes are seen outside the Walter Kerr Theatre, at 219 West 48th Street, in New York City.
