News PHOTO CALL: reasons to be pretty Open Rehearsal Members of the press were invited to attend an open rehearsal Feb. 17 for the upcoming Broadway production of Neil LaBute's reasons to be pretty.

Directed by Terry Kinney, the production reunites original cast members Piper Perabo and Thomas Sadoski, who appeared in the MCC Theater's Off-Broadway premiere. New to the four-person cast are Marin Ireland and Steven Pasquale.

Reasons to be pretty, according to press notes, "confronts America's obsession with physical beauty headlong. In Neil LaBute's new play, Greg's (Sadoski) tight-knit social circle is thrown into turmoil when his off-handed remarks about a female co-worker's pretty face (and his girlfriend's lack thereof) get back to said girlfriend (Ireland). But that's just the beginning."
