Phyllis Newman remembered her husband, Adolph Green, with "Some Other Time," sung with Bernadette Peters at the Dec. 3 memorial for the late lyricist.

Green, the legendary Broadway lyricist-librettist and screenwriter who, with partner Betty Comden, created On the Town, Bells Are Ringing, On the 20th Century and "Singin' in the Rain," passed away on Oct. 24. The theatre community gathered together Dec. 3 at the Shubert Theatre to remember him with songs from his career and anecdotes from his very full life.
