The last new musical by Adolph Green to appear on Broadway, The Will Rogers Follies told the story of American cowboy and everyman Rogers through a Follies-style revue complete with beautiful dancing girls, rope tricks and performing dogs. The Will Rogers Follies, directed and choreographed by Tommy Tune, won Green his final Tony Award, this time for Best Score. Pictured are Keith Carradine as Rogers and his New Ziegfeld Follies girls.
